How and when to present the application ?
The selection is made on file all year round. You have to fill in the application form (see part Download). We will reply to you as soon as possible.
What is the cost of the residence?
The cost of a residence is 4000 yuans a person and per month, in exchange for set-up fees (visa F - visa business), a private bedroom with individual bathroom, internet (WiFi), access to all studios (1 Computer room, 1 Visual Arts studio, 1 Danse studio, 1 DIY space, 1 Multi-purpose room, exhibit space, 1 library), possibility of organizing an exhibition at the end of residency (communication fees to the artist, approximately 1000 yuans), and we try to be available for the artists and to answer their needs, also while proposing visits of neighborhood if wished .
Breakfast and lunch can be taken on the spot for 40/30 yuans by meal.
Is the material supplied?
The artist is responsible for the expenses of journey and material, except those of the residence.

Do I need a visa to come in China?
Yes, Rhizome being an official company, has the authority to deliver an invitation letter to be handed during the visa request with the consulate or the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in your country. This invitation allows you to obtain a visa F (business visa), motive: cultural exchanges for 1 to 3 months, renewable in China.
